Coffee grounds are a great addition to your compost pile. Many coffee shops offer used grounds free for the taking. The same is true for your neighborhood grocery store. Check with the produce department to see about obtaining their “culled” or overripe fruit and vegetables. Most are happy to offer these to you at no charge. You’ll have plenty of compost in no time at all!
